Organizing a mobile consulate to Glasgow
The Consulate General of Algeria in London informs Algerian citizens residing in Scotland that it will organize a mobile consulate to provide consular services in the city of Glasgow, on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from nine (09) am to six pm, at a location to be determined.
During this day, many consular services will be provided at the same location as follows:
We invite citizens who wish to renew their biometric passport, or who are requesting it for the first time, to send us a complete file in advance, by mail no later than November 18, 2024, consisting of:
- The application form, filled out and signed by the person concerned or the legal guardian for minor children, can be downloaded from the Consulate General’s website www.algerian-consulate.org.uk
- Consular registration card.
- Proof of residence and nationality.
- Expired passport.
Passport fees are paid in cash or by money order.
For adults:
Ordinary passport, 28 pages, £55
Ordinary passport, 48 pages, £82.50
For minors:
Ordinary passport 28 pages, £27.50
Ordinary passport 48 pages, £55
Paying an additional tax in the event of a passport being lost or destroyed:
For adults: £100
For minors: £50
On this occasion, all questions related to consular services can also be answered.
Important notes:
- Minor citizens aged 12 years and above must be physically present to issue or renew a biometric passport.
- A minor child (under 12 years old) is not required to attend, and the application must be submitted by the legal guardian. In this case, the photos submitted must comply with ICAO standards.
- Appointments will be set for citizens who have applied for a passport to register fingerprints, take biometric photos, and electronic signatures, which must be adhered to.
- The fingerprinting and photo-taking procedure cannot be carried out if the application has not been previously sent to the Consulate General.

- Recover the passport and/or biometric national card, mentioning the file number that appears on the deposit receipt.

- Authentication of documents, issuance of agencies (must present a valid Algerian passport or national ID card), and parental authorization to travel.
